GAAP is a multifaceted artist and creator born in Quito (Ecuador). For more than 20 years he has lived in Barcelona (Spain) where he daily manifests his passion for creating and participating in new artistic trends.
He considers himself to be the creator of Netexpressionism, an artistic movement influenced by an avant-garde aspect of political and social facts of a changing world in technologies and laws –which he calls Cyber Vanguardism– due to the constant information (or disinformation) of the Internet and the media.
His great admiration for artists such as Claude Monet (within the Impressionist movement), Picasso and Jean Michel Basquiat (Neo-/ Expressionism) or Bansky (in Modern or Street Art) translates into a marked influence both in the meaning of his work, as well as in his technique –painting in oil and acrylic, and incorporating other elements such as collage, graffiti and temperas.

His passion for creation led him to his role as project manager and creative director, where he manages in his different projects to play with the synergy of three main elements: art, fashion and music.
From musical shows with live art, exclusive fashion pieces, to the creation of sculptures or jewellery, GAAP can be considered as a creative mind that can adapt to different terrains or types of projects.
With an open mind and heart, and a global and international spirit, GAAP intends to transmit his world, his experiences and wisdom through his work and therefore, is constantly moving to open new horizons as he has already shown in cities such as Madrid or Zurich.
